Homebuilding is a liner process, and for most, you cannot move on to item 2 until item 1 is done. The process for making sure that the workers, materials, etc. are in the right place at the right time is called staging. The problem is that there are always problems (i.e. the bricks might not be delivered when the masons are there to lay them), and this generally results in construction delays.
At John Siemering Homes, we've been in the building industry for more than 27 years, but we are not set in our ways. As we work through the construction staging of each home we have learned to be flexible, to think and act outside the box. If the kitchen cabinets don't arrive on time and we have a carpentry crew waiting to install them, we don't send them home, we have them work on the crown molding...in other words, we re-stage the construction to maximize our resources. We don't let weather, city inspectors, or insufficient supplies stop our work from moving forward, so your home is always moving forward.
